Left Edge (“we”, “our”) operates leftedge.golf and the Left Edge iOS app. This page describes what we collect and why, in plain language.

What we collect

• Account info: your email, and your name if you provide it or your sign-in provider shares it
• Golf profile details you choose to add, such as handicap index and home club
• Tournament details and registrations you create or join
• Scores recorded during tournaments, by you and by playing partners scoring your group
• Location, only with your permission, to show nearby tournaments
• A push notification token, only if you enable notifications
• Crash reports and performance diagnostics from the app, so we can fix bugs

How we use it

To deliver the service, run tournaments, and communicate about events you organize or play in. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Third parties that process data for us

• Supabase (sign-in and database)
• Railway (backend hosting) and Vercel (website hosting)
• Apple and Google (sign-in, if you use them)
• Sentry (crash reporting)
• Google Gemini (only the flyer image, text, or link an organizer submits for AI tournament import)
• Expo (push notification delivery, if you enable notifications)
• Stripe (payment processing when paid entry fees are enabled; we never store card data)

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app under Profile, or by emailing us. If you organize tournaments, captain a team with other players on it, or have sent announcements to players, the app will ask you to resolve those first so other people’s events and results are not stranded. Deletion removes your identity and personal information. Scores and team records that are part of other players’ completed competitions are kept but anonymized, so their results stay intact without naming you.
